Pros:
Higher off road agility
Good off road suspension
Engine has character and a nice power curve
Cons:
Windshield sucks
FI will drive you insane with its abruptness, surging, shutting off, etc.
Have to carry 2 extra fuel pumps on long trips
Sand in engine from casting at the factory
Have to carry an extra water pump and seal kit on long trips.
Limited tire choices
Bike will run out of fuel sometimes when it has a .5gal left in the tank(tanks don't balance well)
2 hour oil changes
3 hour valve inspections
front tire wobble on deceleration at 30-40mph
Limited fuel range
Did I mention the FI will put you in a straight jacket?
I don't know if i've read about one making it to a 100,000 miles yet.
